Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, skilled and reliable person to join our Maintenance team. The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Respond to room calls, assess maintenance issues and propose solutions.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting, auguring, drywall repair etc.
  • Help maintain and repair heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Liaise with other departments and external contractors.
  • Assist in monitoring of pool and hot tub equipment.
  • Conduct routine checks of common areas and guest rooms in order to identify issues and conduct preventative maintenance work.
  • Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are always followed.
  • Follow emergency procedures and be on call for emergency maintenance calls (as needed).
  • Help to move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
  • Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Cut grass, water plants and tend grounds.
  • Carry out other miscellaneous tasks as directed.

The successful candidate must be conscientious with good attention to detail and a professional attitude. Previous experience is preferred, especially in plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry etc. Full training will be provided.

Wage: $18+ per hour depending on experience. Pay review after 3 months of employment.

Shifts: 40 hours per week including morning, evening and/or weekend shifts with two consistent days off per week.
