Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Chief Steward, this position will require shift work and some overnights may be required. The responsibilities and essential job functions, are but not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues Wash, scour dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans operating an industrial dishwasher or by hand Ensure the kitchen Colleagues have the dishes/silverware required and guest have clean dishes Sort, stack and load/unload dishwasher Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times by sweeping and mopping Remove trash, clean kitchen garbage containers & recycling Follow department policies, procedures and service standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Must be in good physical condition No prior experience required/will train Highly responsible & reliable Driver's abstract an asset as property grounds are large and may require dishes to be transported down to the golf course, Waldhaus or conference centre Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Ability to prioritize guest and colleague needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Rate of Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour. Full rate after one year is $18.25 per hour.
