Personal Summary

To Whom It May Concern:

Upon seeing your posting for a Hotel Front Desk Agent, I was excited to submit my application for your review. Having grown up in Alberta, I have always admired the beauty of the Banffand would love to share my passion for exceptional hospitality by joining your team!

I am currently taking a year sabbatical from my career as a Registered Nurse to travel, and have had the opportunity to see many great countries so far. However, my love for Canada in the summer has me reaching for my roots and seeking an opportunity to spend my summer working in the hospitality industry in the majestic Canadian Rockies before continuing my journey.

I love working with people and ensuring they are happy, comfortable and feel welcomed.  I have an outgoing, friendly and professional personality and have a passion for providing an outstanding customer experience for my clients.  As a Registered Nurse,  I understand the importance of having strong communication and interpersonal skills and maintaining professionalism at all times. I am experienced in working in fast paced stressful environments and have the necessary critical thinking and problem solving skills to resolve concerns as they arise.

I have exceptional administrative skills and have proven ability utilizing various software programs, and multi-line phone systems efficiently and accurately.  I am highly responsible, reliable and experienced in shift work.  I am able to work independently but also enjoy the comradery of working in a team environment.

Working at your resort is a once in a life time opportunity and one I don’t want to miss! I believe I would be a great asset and an exceptional employee as a member of your team!

Thank-you so much for your time and I hope you consider my application.

Sincerely,

Heather Toohey
