Guest service agent or Restaurant server
To whom it may concern,
My name is Monique Ferris, I am a 27 year old Australian female who has recently relocating to Canada.
I would like to express my extreme interest in obtaining a job in one of your available positions.
I have been working as a registered emergency nurse for the past 5 years, prior to this I was working at Mc Donald’s for over 6 years. During this time I progressed through positions including crew trainer and shift manager.
Although I have not had the opportunity to work in a front desk agent position or as a server, throughout these employments I have developed strong skills in providing a high level of customer service whilst being able to work in a fast paced environment. I believe I learn quickly and would be an essential employee to your establishment.
I believe one of my strongest attributes is my level of communication. Communication between not only myself and my customers but also with other colleagues allows me to provide the highest level of customer service.
I have always been involved in team environments throughout my life and I consider myself to be someone who is able to work effectively as a team and not allowing one person to do all the work, I understand the importance of team work and I will always strive to be part of that team to get the best possible outcome.
Throughout my previous employment I have always considered myself to be extremely reliable and hardworking and will continue to uphold this if you choose to employ me. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am a reliable, proactive and well presented individual, with experience in many aspects of the hospitality and tourism industry. Originally from the UK, I have spent the last 5 months working in a hotel bar in Vancouver and I am now looking to head to Banff for my 4th winter season. I have worked predominately as a waitress or bartender for the past 4 years, travelling through Australia, New Zealand and most recently Japan. My roles have included section table service of 3 course meals, bartending, preparing barista style coffee, and use of MICROS and other POS systems. Between hospitality roles, my other employment has been in customer service faced roles as a ski technician and recruitment consultant. I am not afraid to work long hours in a fast paced environment and have full availability.
Customer service representative
Calgary, AB, Canada
My skills include being a quick learner and adaptability. I can work well in a team as well as independently.
Meeting the needs and wishes of the customers, that is something that needs to be pursued! It fascinates me to keep searching for appropriate solutions to fully satisfy the customers and make them happy.
I would love to work in the mountains as I adore skiing and the atmosphere around the sport. I also love working with people while being around in a beautiful environment.
My current job as consultant for Child Protection strongly appeals to me because of its diversity (different problems, conversations alternated with administration, meetings, investigating situations and their coordination, …). A job as one of the preferred above seems to be very diverse as well because on the one hand you are meeting customers from all over the world and on the other hand you have a lot of movement next to the brainwork (preparing classes, calculating the cash register, …).
From my ski training I learned to teach every movement step by step, how you can ensure that everyone is motivated to learn (for example, by switching the skiers in front with those at the back), etc. Also I learned how important it is to entertain the pupils during the classes. I want to improve my instructor skills by doing a level 1 CSIA course in November.
At Maison Rouge, a catering employment agency, I learned to work efficiently (for example at the cash register) and to serve up. For this, I received a 3 hour training.
What characterizes me is that I always see the positive in people. I learned to work in a solution-oriented way by looking at what works well and using it. Customers have an opinion that needs to be listened to. In addition to helping the customers further, I also function well within a team. In this way I am open to feedback, I like to consult with colleagues and I also gladly help them. I would like to become the factor that can guarantee the well-being of the customers.
With my enthusiasm I hope to accompany you soon. I always work with a smile on my face!
I gladly explain my resume, which is in the appendix, in an exploratory interview.
I am looking forward to your response.
Banff, AB, Canada
Great team player looking for full time work with accomidation.
My name is Tara Lynch, im 28 years old and originally from England. I'm here in Canada with my boyfriend Nick and we are so excited to see what Banff has to offer.
Throughout my full career i have been passionate about delivering a 5 star service and i have been lucky enough to demonstrate my skills on a number of different platforms. Whether that be face to face in retail or hospitality or over the phone in banking and insurance. Each customer experience is important and valuable and starts at the first point of contact.
Being able to go above and beyond for a customer brings satisfaction and there is no better feeling as to when you have helped someone as best you can.
I pride myself of doing any task to the best of my ability and to do so i ensure i have all the necessary knowledge so i am confident in my role. I am humble enough to ask for help when needed and understand the importance of feedback.
during my current position at Turtle Jacks Muskoka Grill - Port Carling i have had the privilege to be given many responsibilities. I started the company as a dish wash and then progressed to prep cook and pantry. Here i have been able to develop back of house skills and gain a greater understanding of the operations of the kitchen.
Alongside these roles i have also been given Hosting shift whereby my responsibility is to greet customers, seat where appropriate and welcome into the restaurant. During these hours i have been able to develop my serving abilities to coincide with Canadian standards. I am a fast learner and love to take on a new challenge and so i am very much looking forward to learner new skills.
Previously i have worked in nightclubs and bars and a barmaid/bartender back in England whilst studying at University and so have experience in mixing and serving alcoholic beverages also.
I look forward to hearing from you.
